Main Purpose of the Role

The Implementation Specialist position is responsible for the installation, upgrade, troubleshooting and maintenance of PublicEye software on our client's server & mobile environments.

Person Specification

A successful candidate will have well rounded technical skills in both application and server support along with good communication skills to work with our clients to ensure they receive excellent support services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Remote installation, configuration and troubleshooting of the PublicEye server and mobile applications.
  • Work with the PublicEye support & sales teams to ensure smooth scheduling and completion of tasks.
  • Lead technical review calls with clients to evaluate hardware and network specifications based on application requirements.
  • Ensure that there are no avoidable configuration issues after software installs and upgrades in client production environments.
  • Provide technical training and support to customers.
  • Performing in-house installs and upgrades on pre-release versions of the software, and providing technical input on installation and technical guides.
  • Providing technical help on various in-house hardware, network and software issues.

Essential Skills, Experience and Competencies

  • Must be familiar with installing software on IIS (version 7 and above).
  • Must have configuration knowledge of SQL Server 2008/2012 & SQL Express.
  • Must have configuration knowledge of Windows Server 2003/2008 & 2012.
  • Proactive approach to investigation and analysis of technical issues.
  • Knowledge of web based application performance troubleshooting.
  • A high level of professionalism and client-facing skills, together with the ability to work independently.
  • Must be able and willing to travel and work with customers directly.
  • Flexible with working hours, you will be required to work with our off shore engineering teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication required.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.

Desirable Skills, Experience and Competencies

  • Experience with Police and Fire CAD & RMS systems.
  • Experience with mapping 3rd party data bases fields to a predefined schema.
  • Experience working with mobile devices and operating systems such as iOS, Android and Windows 8/RT.
  • Experience with compiling and deploying iOS, Android or Window 8/RT applications.

PublicEye is a public safety software created for police, fire and EMS. We are seeking a sales representative to sell the product out of a satellite office in California.
 
Purpose of the Role:
You will be working as part of the sales team selling PublicEye software to municipalities. The purpose of this role is to increase brand awareness, funnel leads through a sales cycle, and close deals.
 
Person Specification:
You must be a go-getter who has the ability to work independently. You will report to the VP of Business Development and must be experienced in closing contracts and creatively reaching out to prospects.
 
Key Responsibilities:
-       Build relationships with the public safety community
-       Call on existing CRM prospects
-       Set up and present onsite and web demonstrations
-       Attend local networking events and national public safety tradeshows
-       The ability to creatively source leads, interact with customers and close deals
 
Skills, Experience, and Competencies
-       Experience with public safety computer-aided dispatch is required
                  o   (TriTech, Spillman, Tiburon, etc.)
-       You must be located in California and have familiarity with West Coast states and territories
-       Must be out-going, sociable, and have a passion for networking
-       Must display a high level of professionalism whether on the phone, through email, or in-person
-       Ability to work independently with limited supervision
-       Ability meet goals and deadlines
-       Must be comfortable working flexible hours with the possibility of travel
-       Experience with a client management system (Salesforce) is preferred but not required.

The purpose of this role is to improve product sales. The Jr. Sales rep will work as a liaison between prospects and our senior sales team to move leads through the sales funnel.
