Verizon Wireless is launching another grand device, the 4G LTE Samsung Stratosphere arriving October 13th. And unlike its competitor the iPhone 4S, which drops on October 14th, the Stratosphere has 4G.

Loyal followers of Android will have something better then what the iPhone provides, which is the ability to possess 4G LTE data speeds while their equivalents linger with 3G speeds. However, the iPhone 4S is guaranteed to be a huge seller, with reports having already suggested that over 200,000 phones ordered on presale since Friday on AT&T alone.

The Samsung Stratosphere will make the perfect substitute for people who just aren’t into the iPhone 4S. It is still packed with features, a 1GHz processor, 512MB of dedicated RAM, 4GB of onboard storage and 5 megapixel camera, and a full QWERTY keyboard.

The Motorola Droid Bionic, the Samsung Nexus Prime and the iPhone 4S are all said to receive a huge level of interest over the next few week. There will be fierce competition on hand to see who comes out on top.
