It seems like tablets are taking over the technology world. The revamped Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 is said to be the best overall Android tablet on the market. Its predecessor, the 10.1 inch Galaxy Tab, was just too big.

This new, smaller, Galaxy is very slim, and relatively light at 15.7 ounces. Equipped with a 3.2-megapixel camera on the back and a 2-megapixel camera on the front. It is a Wi-Fi only tablet, but you do get Bluetooth. Bluetooth supports GPS. The new Galaxy, like most other Android tablets runs Honeycomb. This is a problem because Honeycomb doesn’t have a lot of apps to download for tablets.

The Galaxy Tab syncs contacts and calendars with Samsung's Kies software on PCs, and lets you drag and drop files in Windows Explorer onto the tablet.
