Okta is a cloud-management start up that has grown rapidly through-out 2011. Okta is a company that has a goal to tie all of the different cloud services aimed at businesses into one. There is no exact number showing how many customers the company does have, but it is catching on. They released a statement saying that the number of customers has tripled. And their new customer base is not anything small. The companies include Nestlé Purina, ShoreTel, Informatica and LegalZoom, jus to name a few.

Now they are expanding the company size by adding two new VPs. One is from BMC Software and the other from ArcSight. Adam Aarons is the new VP of sales, which was his past position at BMC. Hector Aguilar is the VP of engineering, from ArcSight, where he was the CTO and VP of software development.

I can expect Okta to continue to grow. Having these two new employees with the knowledge and experience they have will indefinitely push the company forward. We will hear a lot more about Okta in the future.
