We blogged numerous times over the past month about the Kindle Fire and how it was suppose to “shutdown” the iPad during this years holiday season, however one expert is saying the Fire is not all it was talked up to be.  Jakob Nielson says the screen is far too small and there is not enough external volume. Because the screen is already smaller than that of the iPad (7 inches), the buttons on the screen are small. Therefore, leaving a lot of room for tap error and accidental activation. If you are an owner of the Kindle Fire we promise you don’t have abnormally fat fingers, we assume it is in fact the smaller screen.  There have already been numerous articles written about how Amazon has lost money on this product because it costs more to make then what stores are selling it for. Do you own a Fire? Tell us what you think!
