Dropbox, a cloud storage company, added offline storage and bulk upload to its Android application. The newest features include, making files available while offline and uploading more than one file at a time. The bulk upload feature was already available for the iPhone. In addition to the above features, users can rename files and folder.

Because of the fierce competition in Cloud storage, vendors have to insist customers with more than the amount of free storage. That is just what Dropbox is doing. They are putting aside Amazon’s, Apple’s, and Microsoft’s huge storage capabilities and trying to give more, because Dropbox’s 2GB of storage is no match to the 25GB of free storage Microsoft gives.

Dropbox is trying to stay ahead, knowing there will be more vendors entering the market due to Cloud storage becoming one of the hottest smartphone application sectors.
