Education and networking are also key points of InfoComm. A church technology certification program will be held to educate church leaders on social networking and mobile apps. According to MarketWatch.com, the program will be led by Technologies for Worship Magazine as well as Matt McKee of ROAR mobile apps for churches. The church seminars also count towards Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) renewal credits.

Those that are not CTS certified can take the exam during the conference. InfoComm’s website states that testing will be held Monday, June 11 through Friday, June 15.

Conference schedules show numerous events for newcomers, educators, and those in the field. For first timers, an orientation will be held with an optional walking tour to take full advantage of the showroom floor. For professionals, an IT reception will be held for networking purposes and to discuss the conference.
