Company History
Founded in 1989, our company has been in business for over 20 years. Our start as
a company was in the
custom software business, creating backend, desktop and web applications
for a wide variety of clientele. This is still a staple portion of our business
and it uniquely positions us for our other services including mobile app development.
As a company we pride ourselves in being a step ahead of the latest technologies.
As such, we quickly grew into one of the largest mobile app development companies
in the world with the introduction of third-party mobile apps and solutions - creating
our first custom application in early 2002. We offer custom mobile applications
for all major mobile platforms including iPhone, iPad, Android, Windows Phone, BlackBerry,
Kindle and more. We consider ourselves a maestro in both iPhone and iPad development.
As mobile technology advanced we’ve strived to be on the cutting edge of mobile
gaming, which involved building a 3D animation studio of talented 3D artists. The
combination of our mobile programmers and 3D artists has allowed us to create spectacular
mobile games on behalf of our clients for both entertainment and business purposes.
Our
3D Animation Studio designs high-end 3D content for our clients including
animations, games, advertisements, eBooks, videos, and more.
Locations
Headquartered in Nashua, NH on the banks of the Nashua River our company has expanded over the years to eight worldwide locations, including beautiful facilities in
Maui, Hawaii.
Our office in Nashua is located in an old mill building converted to open-concept offices, providing an attractive work environment and promoting innovation and flexibility.
It is not unusual to see Zco employees working out or playing badminton in the downstairs gymnasium, or walking by the riverside in the adjacent city park.
You may even see us charging up one of our electric cars in our onsite charging station!

Our business model is as developers for hire; our clients hire us to build their products, they own the product and all profits that stem from those projects. We do have one exception to that rule: our public safety product
PublicEye.
This product, which is revolutionizing the law enforcement and fire safety industries, was made in partnership with Apple and the Lowell Police Department.
