We all enjoy the free use of Facebook, and even though the social media site is free they are still a multi-million dollar company.  Facebook receives all of it’s funding from advertising, but when 845 million members log in through a mobile device that presents a problem.  Facebook has been challenged because mobile apps and tablets have strongly taken over the use of computers. Currently Facebook does not receive any meaningful revenue from their mobile products and they have been unsuccessful trying to do so.  Sources say this may be changing soon.  In March of this year, Facebook is supposedly launching a mobile advertising platform.  However, they are thinking of adding sponsor “stories” into users newsfeeds. Is this a good idea? Will you still be a Facebook member if advertisements are popping up in your newsfeed? Tell Zco what you think!
