Pongr’s (an image-recognition technology and mobile marketing company) has developed the “Snap and Send” campaign, which is being used by Pepsi this fall. This fun mobile phone game is not only to promote Pepsi, but also Simon Cowell’s, THE X FACTOR. Approximately 300 million Pepsi ads are being processed with THE X FACTOR promotion.

Fans will use their mobile phones to photograph THE X FACTOR and Pepsi logos together on specifically marked packaging. Once the photo is taken you can email it to TheXFactor@pepsi.com. The grand prize winners will be flown to Los Angeles to see a live taping of THE X FACTOR.

Pongr’s direct response platform has the ability to filter through the entries and automatically send consumers exclusive footage of the reality show, like behind the scene footage or Pepsi exclusive videos.

Fifty-six trips in total will be awarded to different grand prize winners who will be able to watch THE X FACTOR live. In addition to the grand prizes awarded through October 29th another 600 fans each day will win X Factor Merchandise.
